CAPABILITIES

The 2018 Cadillac CT6’s 2.0L turbocharged engine generates 265 horsepower and 295 pound-feet. Natural aspiration manages the induction system in the 3.6L V6 engine that’s rated at 335 hp and 284 lb-ft. Featuring twin turbochargers, the 3.0L V6 engine yields 404 hp and 400 lb-ft. A rear-wheel drive (RWD) is compatible only with the 2.0L turbo powertrain. The 2018 Cadillac XTS offers a naturally aspirated V6 engine that produces just more than 300 hp and under 265 lb-ft. This model is also available with a twin-turbo V6 engine that whips out 410 hp and just less than 370 lb-ft. Both Cadillac sedans could be equipped with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system for optimum handling on paved roads. An eight-speed automatic transmission system is installed in the CT6, and a six-speed auto transmission drives the XTS. Both premium models also offer the signature Magnetic Ride Control that independently adjusts the spin of each wheel in response to variable driving conditions. The advanced Active Chassis System balances the CT6 at fast speeds.

CONNECTIVITY

The Cadillac User Experience (CUE) software is installed in the infotainment systems of the 2018 CT6 and XTS. From concierge services and GPS navigation to weather forecasts and gas prices, this signature portal provides a wide range of important updates. Both Cadillac models entertain occupants with hundreds of music stations on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Featuring 34 speakers, the CT6’s Bose Panaray audio system is virtually unrivaled on the auto market. It’s quite rare for any modern sedan to have more than 20 speakers. The XTS is available with a 14-speaker sound system that’s also made by Bose. Each Cadillac car also boasts a head-up display and digital instrument cluster that could be customized.

LUXURY

The front bucket seats in the 2018 CT6 are available with up to 20 adjustable positions. You can adjust the bucket seats to 22 different settings in the 2018 XTS. Both sedans offer multiple levels of ventilation and heating in these ergonomic seats that are covered in genuine imported leather. Available with a climate control system that independently manages four zones, the CT6 offers a comfortable ride on hot days and cold nights. A tri-zone automatic climate control system is optional in the XTS, which offers the signature UltraView power sunroof. Various wood and metallic trims are nicely integrated into the lavish cabins of both cars.
