The 2022 CT5-V Blackwing is being hailed as an exhilarating speed machine that will deliver a thrilling performance and superb handling. Cadillac equipped this vehicle with a 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine that is capable of producing an astonishing 668 horsepower, 659 lb-ft of torque, and a top speed of 200 mph. The powerful V8 pairs with a standard 6-speed manual transmission, however, if you prefer automatic, you can upgrade to the 10-speed automatic transmission. This pairing, combined with Cadillac’s Custom Launch Control with Line Lock, helps the vehicle go from 0 to 60 in a jaw-dropping 3.7 seconds. In terms of handling, the Blackwing is made with structural reinforcements and a solid suspension that allows the vehicle to be agile, responsive, and direct. On top of that, Cadillac equipped the 2022 model with a high-performance steering wheel, an available carbon-ceramic brake system with cross-drilled rotors, and Magnetic Ride Control, a feature that reads the road up to 1,000 times per second and adjusts for better control and handling.
