The 2018 Cadillac CTS is available in a total of five trims. The entry-level Base comes with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower. Transmission is eight-speed automatic. The Luxury trim replaces the four-cylinder engine with a 3.6L V6 rated at 335 horsepower. The Premium Luxury adds on a few interior features and some high-tech gizmos. The V-Sport has a turbocharged 3.0L engine that pumps out 420 horsepower, and the V-Sport Luxury combines all of the standard and optional features of the Premium Luxury into one tidy package. The 2018 Cadillac XTS sedan is also offered in a total of five trims, from the base XTS up to the elegantly appointed V-Sport Platinum. Engine choices are similar to the CTS, but the uplevel V-Sport Platinum is powered by a 410-horsepower twin turbo engine.
Standard features on the 2018 Cadillac CTS include dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable driver and front passenger seats, simulated leather upholstery, and a Bose surround-sound system. Bluetooth and voice controls are also standard. The uplevel versions add on a sunroof, heated front and rear seats, power rear sunshades, a head-up display and an upgraded Bose stereo. The 2018 Cadillac XTS comes with such standard features as heated as dual-zone climate control, Cadillac user experience features including a premium Bose stereo, and premium interior accents. The uplevel trims add on heated and ventilated front seats, an automatic heated steering wheel, upgraded wood trim, and a sunroof. Leather-wrapped interior accents and a head-up display are either standard or optional depending on the trim chosen.
The 2018 Cadillac CTS is loaded with standard safety features. Aside from the full set of airbags and Brembo braking system, buyers enjoy rear parking sensors and a rearview camera. OnStar telematics is also included. The Luxury and above trims come with the full driver aid package. The 2018 Cadillac XTS comes with standard front and rear park assist and automatic parking assist on the FWD versions, and the uplevel trims include magnetic ride control, low-speed forward automatic braking, following distance indicator, and lane change alert with side blind zone alert.
